Home cooked meal options from our local chef Jo

Jo is a classically French trained chef, who lives with her family in Frogmore. She has cooked for many people over the past 45 years, including appearing on ITV’s ‘This Morning’. She currently runs a popular supper club for residents of Frogmore and the surrounding villages. We are so pleased to be able to offer her delicious home cooking to our guests.

Jo is passionate about all types of cooking. Wherever possible she uses local ingredients from across the South Hams. Her aim is to make your culinary experience memorable with fabulous flavours!

Prices below, per person. We recommend that children under 7 share an adult portion between 2.

Welcome fridge supper

A delicious home-cooked two course supper. Choose a main and desert option for your group, and they will be waiting in the fridge for you to heat and serve (instructions provided). Ideal for a first night.

£25 per person, for 10-14 people, with 1 main and up to 2 deserts.

Mains

Traditional Italian lasagne, served with garlic flatbread.

Luxury fish pie - a selection of salmon, prawns, white and smoked fish, cooked in a cheese and leek sauce and topped with a parmesan and ciabatta crumb.

Sweet potato and chickpea tagine, served with a vegan mint raita. (vg)

Deserts

Traditional Italian tiramisu.

Tarte au citron, garnished with raspberries and crème fraiche.

Chocolate and cherry roulade, served with chocolate sauce.

Baked New York vanilla cheesecake, served with a damson gin coulis.

Sticky toffee pudding, served with clotted cream.

Selection of local cheeses, served with grapes, celery, red onion chutney and biscuit selection.

Three course dinner party

Treat your group to a three course dinner party in Seaflowers’ dining room. We’ll serve and clear away too, so all you need to do is choose which menu options below to indulge in!

Starters

Potted Salcombe crab, with homemade soda bread, pea shoots and lemon.

Warm roasted tomato and basil salad, served with balsamic vinaigrette and vegan soda bread. (vn)

San Choy Bow (Chinese lettuce wraps with soy and sesame pork mince).

Watercress, pear and blue cheese salad. (v)

Baked prosciutto and parmesan wrapped asparagus spears, served with a miso hollandaise.

Homemade chicken liver pâté, served with dressed mixed leaves, red onion chutney and garlic and thyme crostini.

Mains

Za’atar and sumac crusted salmon, baked in a creamy tahini sauce.

Chicken Marbella - oven roasted succulent chicken thighs, marinated and cooked in capers, olives and juicy Medjoul dates.

Mexican quinoa stuffed bell peppers, served with a coriander jalapeño dressing. (vn)

Mughlai Chicken - a mild creamy braise with elegance and depth of flavour, thickened with ground almonds and cumin.

Kerala fish curry - a local white fish tamarind-tangy curry, which makes for a perfect dinner on a hot night.

Roasted aubergine with curried yoghurt, topped with toasted flaked almonds and pomegranate seeds. (vn)

Cider roast loin of pork, served with a wholegrain mustard and cream sauce.

Beef Wellington, served with a mushroom and Madeira sauce (premium option, available for a supplement).

Devon afternoon tea

Return from a day out exploring to a traditional Devon cream tea, served on the terrace when the sun is shining. Set-up on a day and time of your choice.
