Terms and Conditions
1. About Seaflowers
Seaflowers is a holiday home and retreat venue located in Frogmore, Devon, United Kingdom.
By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all bookings, including room-only stays, full-house bookings, and retreat stays, unless otherwise stated in writing.
2. Bookings and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance is due no later than four weeks prior to arrival.
If the balance is not received by the due date, Seaflowers reserves the right to cancel the booking and make the property available for rebooking. This does not release the guest from their payment obligation.
All prices are quoted in GBP.
3. Cancellations and Modifications
Cancellations or modifications made within four weeks of arrival will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking value.
For cancellations made more than four weeks prior to arrival, the deposit remains non-refundable.
We strongly recommend that guests take out appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and unforeseen circumstances.
4. Cancellation by Seaflowers
In the unlikely event that Seaflowers must cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, all payments made will be refunded in full.
Seaflowers shall have no further liability beyond the refund of monies paid.
5. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is from 4:00pm
Check-out is by 10:00am
Early check-ins and late check-outs are not guaranteed and cannot be accommodated unless agreed in advance.
6. Early Departure
No refunds will be given for early departure.
Any outstanding balance or additional charges will be deducted from the credit card provided as security for the booking.
7. Guest Behaviour and Use of Property
Seaflowers is located in a small village and guests are expected to respect neighbours and other guests at all times.
Quiet hours apply after 10:00pm
No parties, stag or hen groups are permitted
Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or breach of these Terms may result in guests being required to leave the property immediately, without refund
Seaflowers reserves the right to contact local authorities where behaviour constitutes anti-social or unlawful conduct.
8. Smoking Policy
Seaflowers operates a strict no-smoking policy throughout all indoor spaces, bedrooms, shared areas, gardens, and outdoor dining areas. This includes e-cigarettes and vaping.
Any evidence of smoking indoors will incur a minimum cleaning charge of £200, with additional charges applied where specialist cleaning or damage remediation is required.
9. Pets
Pets are by prior arrangement only, incur a non-refundable fee and are considered solely for full-house bookings.
Pets are not permitted in:
Bedrooms
Upstairs, or
On sofas or soft furnishings
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets and for any damage or additional cleaning required.
10. Additional Charges and Damages
Guests accept responsibility for the property and its contents during their stay.
Seaflowers reserves the right to charge for, including but not limited to:
Damage or breakages
Lost keys
Missing items
Excessive cleaning
Late departure
Unpaid expenses
By booking, guests expressly authorise Seaflowers to charge the credit card provided for any such costs incurred.
11. Age Requirements
The minimum age for individual room bookings is 18 years.
Children are welcome where bookings are suitable and agreed, but must be supervised at all times.
12. Parking
Parking is available on-site or nearby on-street.
Vehicles and their contents are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.
Seaflowers accepts no liability for loss or damage to vehicles or personal property.
13. Liability and Use of Facilities
Guests stay at Seaflowers at their own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seaflowers shall not be liable for:
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Accidents or injuries arising from use of the property, grounds, or facilities
Indirect or consequential loss
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
14. Force Majeure
Seaflowers shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, flooding, power or utility failure, fire, pandemic restrictions, or acts of government.
15. Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.

16. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, photography, and written materials remain the intellectual property of Seaflowers and may not be reproduced or used without prior written consent.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
